Look, guys! It's Jane again!

   So Jane did another Tutorial for The Hairpin today and, of course, I'm obsessed! She said it was inspired by the picture below from Anthropologie and can I just say how much I want to do my hair like this every day of my life?! It doesn't even look that hard to do! But the only thing is that I think you might have to be about a million feet tall and about 100 pounds to properly rock this hair style. But since when do I ever back down from a bad idea?! It's decided next formal dance I will do my hair like this! 

Obsession!

I am obsessed with Jane Feltes! But mostly just her video tutorials that she does for The Hairpin. This one is more or less how I'm going to do my hair and makeup for homecoming today.

    So lately I've been way obsessed with fashion blogs and the like. Here's a list of my favorites:

   Also, my sister showed me this website called http://thehairpin.com/ and they have a really great little section called How to be a Girl  and it's mostly fashion and makeup advice. There are a ton of contributors who write for The Hairpin,I haven't really explored too much, but one of them, Jane Feltes, (who also is a contributor to a podcast/ radio show This American Life which is where I heard of her first) has really good fashion advice and does really good hair and make up tutorials that you should look at and watch. Sometimes she says bad words though........ Just a warning. 

   So ever since I started fashion blog stalking I've thought to my self, "Maddie, you could probs do a fashion blog. That would be fun." so I think I'm going to do that. I think I'm going to start for reals when school starts back up and I actually try to look semi-okay sometimes. Okay? Okay. 

Oh, P.S. My friend Nicole is trying to get me and my friends to blog more so she's making us compete for a "surprise prize" and I'm like 97 1/2% sure that I have this in the bag with this post ^.

Day 8: A Picture of Your Most Treasured Item

   I would say that my most treasured items are my friends and all the memories we've made. They're not really items but I definitely treasure them.  Yesterday was my last day hanging out with my best foreign friend Elena. We went to a Fictionist concert in Ceder City. It was a real adventure, half a mile before the exit Aaron's car broke down and we had to catch a ride with his brother-in-law. We were a little later than we wanted to be but thats okay, we had a blast! Then I had to take Elena home and say our last goodbyes. It was really sad but I fully intend on going to Spain and seeing her again.
